Riverlight Investments Ltd was established in 2023. The purpose of the company set up was to supply raw materials needed for electricity generation, steel making and also crude oil refining.
The experiences of the company management dates back to well over 20 years of experience collectively, with the team having worked in some of the worlds largest commodity trading houses in the world.
Our key product focus is thermal coal, steel scrap, and crude oil.
Due to the team we have built at Riverlight Investments, we are able to offer long-term reliable supply to our clients.
In addition to this, we are also in a positon where we can offer value to suppliers by making sure their product is always sold and has a home.
As a company and team, we have traded well over 7.5 millon tonnes of commodities, and we look to take that number higher each year.
Our principles are based around Integrity, Honesty and Reliability.
This is what we pride ourselves on. This is the basis of our business and we aim to extend this to you each client or supplier we deal with.
We are headquarted in the financial district of the United Kingdom - Canary Wharf, London.
This is a strategic loaction for us due to the banking system which we have here in the UK and also proximity to our clients in Europe and the USA.
In addition to this, the UK is a safe and traceable place.
The justice system is the UK is well established, and we can tackle any dispute that may arise effectively.
However, we do have representatives of our company in Singapore, India, and Indonesia.
This is so we can be close to our clients in Asia.

I am Subomi Aborisade, the head of commodities and also the managing director of Riverlight Investments.
I launched this company with only one thing in mind, to add value to each supply chain in which we trade in. In my 6 years of experience trading commodities such as steel scrap, thermal coal, iron ore and crude oil. I have sold over 3 million tonnes to top producers and manufactures all over the world.
With this experience, I have been able to build a team in each jurisdiction in which we deal in to take our business to the next level.
I hold an International Business degree from the University of Westminster.

Hernawan Putra
Operations and Indonesia Representative
Mr Hernawan Putra is a well seasoned thermal coal trader and operations manager. Having worked for some of the biggest names in mining such as Cargill and Trafigura over the last 20 years.
As a company, we are blessed to have his extensive experience to help ensure efficiency of all transactions handled by the company with regards to thermal coal out of Indonesia.
