Thermal Coal

Our thermal coal is exclusivley sourced from Indonesia, at present.

We focus on 3400 to 5000 GAR. This comes from either South Sumetra, Jambi, East, South or Central Kalimantan.

We have long term positions with reliable miners in these regions for these grades, hence we are in a position to always offer them to clients.

Riverlight Investments sometimes offers our miners prepayment in order secure cargoes and also help with the operations of the mine.

Doing this, gives us an edge over our competition.

We able to supply in Supramax or Panamax Vessels geared or gearless

Steel Scrap

Our steel scrap is sourced from Belgium, Amsterdam and Germany.

We supply this material in deep sea vessels.

Steel scrap comes in the form of HMS 1/2 80/20, Bonus and Shredded Steel Scrap.

We sell this product into Turkey and India for the most part, and some will go to smaller countries such as Spain or Morroco.

Steel scrap is supplied in handymax vessels carrying no more than 45,000 +/-10% tonnes at a time.

Crude Oil

Crude Oil is such a diverse and complex product. Yet, one of the most liquid and most traded commodities in the world.

At present, the crude oil we supply is of US, Canadian and UAE origin.

The crude we supply consists of low sulphur, which is perfect for blending and creating environmently friendly by-products.

This crude is supplied in VLCC size vessels for maximum economies of scale. This is needed due to the long voyages the vessels go on to reach the end users..

We supply to China, India and other far east countries at present.

We bank with ICICI bank and Mashreq Bank due to their highly professional and truly global service. We do all of our trades with a letter of credit at sight 100% and/or Usance LC. In some situations, we are also able to discount invoices.

Although, we are a UK registered company, with these banks; we are truly global. These banks have a presence in each jurisductionn we trade in. Meaning that if any issue should arise, we can tackle it efficiently.
